    I did, and will again...got a street prepped GMC 6-71 waiting that may be going on my 32 5 window when i build it.
    this is my old 32. 6-71 283 4 speed.

    I don't know that 'real' hot rods only have three pedals, but I personally do prefer that. But I think alot of the FED back in the day were running B&M Hydro's and I would call them real hot rods too. regardless.

    yes got a 5 speed. been through 2 clutches now on a heavy duty PP and clutch and it seems to work ok.

    What blower ratio are you guys running on the street? 1:1? Less? More?

    Running 7 lbs boost in little weiand 174 ..306 sbf 4 spd toploader

    I ran less. I did not build my 283 with the idea of a blower so i had a bit too much comp. I don't remember exactly what i end up running it at, but it was under and still produced boost.
    The blower displacement was more than the motor! :)
    Even underdriven that thing hauled ass when you really leaned on the go pedal. Used to get out of shape real quick on those bias ply's.

    Underdriven, I think around 13%. I've seen right around 10 pounds on the boost gauge and at that point you shouldn't really be looking at the gauge!

    Dont leave out DW's 31 coupe.I think its running a Richmond 5 speed with a blown small block.I saw it run 10.96 with my own eyes last summer and its primarily a street car ...
