""" Do all of you lack logic skills? I have taken many an engine apart, and re-assembled them, the first was the hardest, this will be my very first "CAR" build in that I will not be focusing solely on the engine. I feel I have to defend my character, it isn't bragging, What would you do if you were in my position and were being attacked as I am? Folks often reject those that they don't understand, and I have dealt with adversity in this area for all of my life, I am often treated like crap from dullards because they feel that by making fun of me, or by putting me down they appear more smarterer, this is quite the contrarym you appear quite stupid and insipid to me, and you have pinile size issues to boot, I hardly feel threatened by folks like this.

    thanks,

    Kevin

P.S. for those offering help on the build and for all of the confidence builders you have my sincee gratitude, as for al others, you make me realize that the characters that Will Ferrel often commits his acting to are real people, WOW! I am truly amazed:eek: didn't believe it, but you have run the skeptic right out of me. """

While we appreciate your service to our country, the bottom line is, we don't care how intelligent or dull that you are. We don't care if you are getting "laid" or not. We don't even care about your character. Nor your penis size or if you even have one. If you have spent your entire life defending yourself from adversity from dullards like us, you might in your infinite wisdom examine the cause. While you are doing that, get focused and organize your life so you can actually get something accomplished rather than going through every day like a pin-ball bouncing off of everyone and accomplishing nothing. I, on the other hand will be out in my "slug" shop, actually working on my rod or helping some other "dullard" with theirs.

When I was a MoPool mech the 3/4 ton Dodges were Dodges. Like your Plymouth. Not Chryslers, the larger motor. I really want to believe you when you explane how smart you are. But then you go ahead and say you still think something that can't be done, you can do. Even after you have heard the reason it can't be done and almost anyone with any visiualizing skills can see why it won't work. But I know nothing will ever get done on that project. It's all pipe dreams

A head from a Toyota 7MGE might have the same bore spacing
as the 218 Plymouth L-head. I once measured both with a steel
tape and the Toyota seemed to be a close match as far as bore
spacing. Didn't proceed further, who would attempt such as crazy
swap ? Honestly, you'd do well in swapping the entire Toyota
motor as it is the same length and weighs almost 200 pounds
    less weight. The 7MGE has a 3.27" bore, with I recall, a 3.58
inch stroke. Displacement is a little short of the 218 but seems
to be is a good match. You'd get a good 5 speed with hydraulic
clutch, plus the 7MGE has decent torque and can rev well. I think
the 218 has siamezed cylinders with rods that are offset. The
7MGE can turn high RPMs, plus there are turbo versions. A
JDM 7MGE is cheaper than a rebuild of the 218.

iggnore the smart mouthed twats, any real gearhead would be yelling for you to go for it and not look back, it's better than paying someone to drop in a chromed out chevy 350 in it and claim that you did all the work like most of these non gearhead shmucks, just fucking do it and give us pics of the build and don't ask for advice from people that just want to sound like they know it all.

One question: Have you taken the time to enjoy the other 275 posts on this thread starting over a year ago? I recommend that you don't judge a book by reading the last page. WX1
