Thanks TexOutsider and Big Dad for the pics. Frank was good seeing you Friday night and Saturday Nuzzy Fipples was good seeing you as well, wished i wasn't so pre-occupied and could have talked longer Oh yea and that guy from Ardmore track up in Okie-homer... he host a pretty fair race... heck matter of fact he out does us and host 2 that i know of :~))
Doc, it was really great to meet you last weekend. Thanks for bringing the coupe out, even though the motor didn't turn out the way you wanted. I thought the signing of the decklid was a pretty damn cool deal. RIP, bud. -Aaron
Doc, Glad to hear the motor wasn't hurt. I dig the pic of us getting ready to race. Good seeing you bud.
Mo the pic i want to see is the one of my sedan (when finished) up against yours or commonly known as..."should have been mine" Hehehehehhee
Nice grouping of Tri-Five "Chivverlays". Is that the 57 Poncho "Shocker" was talking about; what a sleeper. With that track right on the railroad tracks and industrial area, there should'nt be any real noise complaints; the only problem to not letting it continue to operate would be land value. Wish I were there, left Texas in 84 after I graduated X-Ray school. Butch/56sedandelivery.
What a great event this year, The T-shirt car ran pretty good this time out ,5.96 @118mph on a foot brake pass....all 3600 lbs of her...the Tri Fives were out in force.
Dennis, best keep an eye on Doc, He is real clever about using up your fuel when staging. He is a sly dude.
