Thank you all and particularly Troy for supporting my weirdness for so many years. I sure regret not to be able to see this car in real life but I had to move. Working in HHR was my best experience and regret not to work on customs and rods on a dailly basis anymore.
Goddam!! whoever "chopped" that top the first time, should take up gardening! Cuz this aint the hobby for him!
Agreed. Car is on bags... so stance can change. Wish it had bias plys as well... but sometimes the customer wins.
For sure, I mean that car is one of the nicest I have ever seen and if it were pointed up on the nose and some 6.70s' on there I might have killed 15-20 people driving it like I stole it ( because I did ) right out of the show!!! The peaks on the rear fenders are just mind blowing. Can't argue with the customer right. If he loves it I love it!!!
Here are a few pictures of the interior. Sorry I didn't put them up sooner. Just have been a little bit busy.. I will have more posted to my web site soon... and keep a watch out for the 35's photo shoot in Street Rodder.. Coming soon.... Thank you Dave Martinez www.martinezcustomupholstery.com
This has got to be a very special thread because i'm left with nothing to say that hasn't already been stated. the metal work, the color, the interior,.......................awesome(and that's a weak adjective for this one). Frank
This has been my favorite thread for the past 3 years. It's kind of sad to see it end............Mike
You are like a greek god with a welder in one hand and a lead bar in the other. This ride is amazing!
congrats to everyone who worked on this car. chrisp - I still love everything you did to the back end, it's just perfect. -W
Wow amazing work, i remember seeing this last summer in black primer. it was awesome then but now, Holy Cow!! Congrats Troy and the guys at HHR, much deserved. Justin

Very well said... This thread is one of the reasons for my project and gave me the inspiration to attempt something I never imagined I could do. Thanks alot Chrisp!
I feel the same...I have started to collect some stuff, got a ruff tudor body and I am soon gonna pick up a pretty wasted 37 coupe body with good quarters...its a start and this thread was my inspiration, but your thread Hellonwheels will now take over the spot
Seen this car last week at Hollywood Hotrods. My lady friend jumped in to get a pic. The car is sick! I had no idea what had all been done till I seen this post. WOW!
