  2. Here's my '54 Ranch Wagon, the Drag-n-wagon. Bought it from the original, local owner. Been sitting for a number of years, tuned it, redid the brakes, lowered her and popped on the Moon caps, the thing runs sweet. My family car.....

  5. Just HAD to post this one;it's in upstate New York and I tried to buy it several years ago but sadly the lady won't sell it.Has some sentimental attachment or the like so another great(and rare)vehicle quietly rusts away......

Safariknut, that is what is called an "airport limo"! I have only seen two in my lifetime. One was a Checker that I saw parked behind some business in Santa Ana, CA about 8 or 9 years ago, and the other was...

    are you ready?....

...A '57 Chrysler that someone yanked the 392 hemi out of and sent to the Santa Fe Springs (CA) Ecology junkyard! It was out there for a week and a half before they crushed it. It had blue tinted glass or plastic panels along the roof. I wished I saved one of those. Somewhere in my posession I have a Polaroid photo of the car, as well as the VIN tag from the engine compartment that says "special" all over it... At least I think I still have that stuff. I might have given those items to a Chrysler parts dealer friend.

Safarinut, I'm from a small town in west Texas and there used to be a "Concho bus Lines" that ran through town on a weekly basis. They had blue 59 chevy's like that. I thought they were cool even as a kid. I'd love to have one now. They were set up on the car model not the truck.TP

I havn't fitted any solenoids(VL COMMODORE BOOT RELEASE UNITS) yet I reach in through the quarter window at the moment. I got pulled over by the filth once and they asked " wheres ya door handles" when I said in the glovebox they didn't know what to say. I proceeded to tell them it was pre 65 so I didnt have to have them. dumb struck they left me alone

One more that may have been forgotten.
By the way, the pics I have posted are courtesy of Carnut.com
This site has over 26,000(probably closer to 30,000) pics posted. You can search by year or, in this case, by wagon.
George even has many car show pics, including the HAMB Drags.
