My '32. My original intent was to build a cabriolet pickup which is why I kept the A pillars. After driving it that idea is out the window as there isn't sh!t for interior room (I'm 6' 2"). Eventually it'll lose the A pillars and get a roadster windshield and top, among other things.
I saw a white one for sale a while back. I was wondering if anyone has any pictures or knows whos it was?
I've posted a few pictures before but here are some shots my daughter snapped one evening last fall while we out cruising around. We had blast. The 348 made her smile.
Here's the one I got last summer. Mostly stock, Model "B" Check out those "classy rear fenders! I pulled the fenders off! The posibilities are endless! What to do!
Rolled mine out of hibernation last week so I got to take a couple of pics before it was covered up again in a different spot. I look forward to putting it together one day. It's just a rolling pile of parts right now.
Here is mine Flatty with suicide front and Q/C 40 axle. Cowl steering using Suzuki steering box. 2years collecting the parts and a year to build.
i just got this one on the road for a customer. gonna do some shakedown miles then disassemble for paint and interior.
Holy Crap!! I didn't realize this thread was started in 2003!! Just as a catch-up, I bought Tony's truck in 2006, and am having as much fun with it as he had. This baby is loud, obnoxious, rude and tight, PERFECT. A hot rod is supposed to be that way! I am in the process of making it a bit like it was built, back in the mid 60's. I saved all the extras in case the next caretaker wants to pry my cold, dead body out of it and redo it.-MIKE Thanks, Tony. This is 2006, when Tony delivered it. Tweaked 'er up a tad..... Took the fenders off, just to see what it looked like..... Decided to go back to the way it looked in the mid 60's, when it was built To be continued.
by the look of the fenders, it would look really good as a hiboy. congrats on the new project. if you need anthing let me know. -danny
Congratulations on the new project,,,of course I'm a little bias when it come to Deuce pickups. And now you can hold your head up proudly and proclaim you are again,,3WLarry,,ha,ha, Whats the plan? HRP
Hot Damn Larry, a-nudder pickup in the family.............. Congrats I dig it. Hell, tag it and drive it..........
Plans are for a 1958 283/4bbl/oilbath air cleaner/ with a '39 tranny and a '40 rear...'40 brakes...'32 steering. I'm not going to drop it just yet...I'm going to get it running first at stock height and drop it later...I wanna drive it now! It's already painted and upholstered.
