I know its non HAMB but my father has an 04 Silverado with 460,000, maybe he will catch her.

 

When I worked at the Honda dealer years ago, there were some that were over 500K miles on the original engine. The models that were known for that were the 88-9 Accord LXi. Few others after that, if any.

Good cars, and they last forever. The carb'd ones couldn't do it, the injected ones did.

But I agree, the Merc is way cooler.

 

Ha a year after that post I work at HPD

 

That lady really made an effort to look after that car, notice all the records she kept even had a chart of all the lube points.
