Removed the spindles off my old axle, bead-blasted them, and got a coat of primer on them...ready for the new bushings/kingpins to be installed. Also welded up my Welder Series crossmember. That's it as far as this hobby is concerned. :)

  3. good for you!...my shop came with '72 GMC big block truck which got shoved inside while the "yard" was being cleaned up...finally have it on its feet...and out...so my '39 Delux Ford can come in to have her body stripped off...for a long timeacomn' build...flathead powered for sure...

  4. cleaned the car up, pin stripped the hood & trunk and put it by the road for sale

I tore the (interior) door panels off my car , made patterns , transferred 'em to board , cut 'em out/drilled holes for clips , trimmed/fitted 'em & bought foam & fabric .

    Not much ... ;)

Got all the lights working in my 59 F100 at a friends shop. Driving home after dark, headlights reverted to brights only, ran out of gas, gauge cluster started smoking (Bezel removed). To top it all of as I turned on the final stretch to the house, the speedometer dial popped off, hit the steering wheel and landed in the floorboard. Hey, at least the horn works.

Took the painted front suspension off the T Bucket, along with a bunch of other parts, sent them off to be chrome plated, spent the whole weekend putting it all back together.

Hey Hot Water 6...when it rains, it pours, huh? LOL!

Me...I sorted through a crapload of parts in the chicken-coop. Sold the '53 Chevy truck, and gathering all the parts stuck away for it. He'll be here next weekend. Maaaaaaan, I've got a lot of shxt! Took a long time, but found some stuff I haven't seen for a while. Really enjoyed the warmer weather.

Got to hang out and watch my son, Hard luck, letter and pin stripe the air cleaner on my cousin's 73' Gremlin with a 514 cube Caddy for motivation. [low 6's] I worked on the wiring on my 32' for a while but I didn't have the motivation to get shit done. I hate old people.

Hauled a mid '50's International truck frame home in the back of a 3/4 ton pickup, with about 5 feet of the frame hanging out the back. Drove for over 3 hours life that, but it got home safely and I did not even have to re-tighten the straps. Also got some dents pounded out of my Model A coupe body and practiced Oxy welding on some scraps of 18 gauge to prepare for welding in patch panels.
