Hot Rods 1938 Ford Pick-up pic's,need some inspiration!!!

Anybody have some 38 Pick-up photos? The only ones I could find are Dan Collins and that one with the Vegas Tattoo artwork on the doors.
ANYBODY?

 

Don't think this is a 38,but same basic shape...

The avatar photo at left is the only photo of Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup that I have on my computer. Just an old work truck that was "rode hard and put up wet." The advertizements on it are for Drake Motor Co., the local Ford dealer from 1928-1956. Phone 13, which really was their number back then.

 

I dont have pics. but if I had a 38 pick up, I would build the hell out of it! They just look bad ass!

 

I just started the tear down on my 38 so I will stay close to this! Here is a few pics I have been using for inspiration

 

This is mine. Still a work in progress. Are there any other pix of the cream one? I'd like to get a better look at the wheel and tire treatment.

Bob, it's not full fendered, but here's mine, just painted it this weekend. Still building it.

Nope. It will stay close to home for a while,til I get familiar with it.

 

Dan Collins truck is all the inspiration I would need I dont think anyone has done one as nice. That thing is bad ass.

Heres our kinda 38 pickup, added the dual ribs of a 38 hood into the side of a 40 hood, rest of the truck is 38 ford

I'm glad this thread is getting some attention. It seems like the 38-39 trucks get overlooked a little bit. All I have is a cab and doors so no use posting a pic but these other ones are certainly inspiring.

 

Here is a few of mine - Its my daily driver 350/350 combo running 16" steelies big littles for rubber rake.



The marker on the fender I've never seen on another 38/39 truck. The actual markers are 51 ford reverse lights.
