    LOL! OH, OK. That must be why we see all those 50's cars and big rigs doing 80-90 mph commuting up and down 101 to and from Sebastapol over the Golden Gate or across the Richmond/San Rafael bridge all day and night on their way to those behind the times low paying jobs...got it.

  13. I saw this car on TV at a Auto Auction. A beautiful car.
    The car was so desirable that two guys ended up on a bidding war. The bidding stalled, as I can remember, about $700,000 (or more) as the other guy couldn't afford to go any higher.
    At the end, the winner had to remove the losing bidder out of the driver's seat, because the loser wanted the car so bad, he wasn't going to get out of the car.
    They also had the '54 Pontiac's version of a similar two-seater, but didn't sell as well. I remember that concept was green and had the "silver streak" (?) bands on the front hood.
