I'm having some fun with an old Plymouth 5 window club coupe... I'm going for a Vintage nascar hybrid thingy... so I cut it up and put it back together then painted it with a bunch of left over candy and metal flake and then did a quicky stripe job to see if I liked all the tape line pinstripped... I was thinking of going with a bunch of nascar stickers but, am wondering if I should paint on some vintage looking stuff... Whatcha think?

What is that grill? Build pics?

Incredibly cool car!! I love the paint but I'm not a fan of the stickers.

I like it in a way that sorta worries me. That exhaust system looks serious. What's under the hood?

So, I started taking my meds shortly after this car... I was born in the 60's but don't remember the end of the 70's and most of the 80's... the engine is a beefy 350 with a 350 turbo 2500 stall... the exhaust sounds wicked.

I say leave it. Cool car. If it looked more NASCAR I wouldn't think so bad but not on this car. Any more pics of the car?

I kind of dig it in a way. Its definitely a personal statement...and Ill bet there's not another one like it in the whole world. haha

It kind of reminds me of an art car my friends dad built.

I think this is the coolest Plymouth coupe I've ever seen of this bodystyle. Really!

I seriously love the front of that car!!

Definately stands out in a pack. I give you props just for being different and not building another 69 Camaro.

I knew that was coming but you can't deny it's crazy in a different kinda way.

I can deny anything I want. And would vastly prefer a fleet of orange '69 camaros with fake SS stripes and TTII's over that thing.

Good taste can be appreciated, but bad taste can easily be identified.

Not sure about the NASCAR hybrid deal. Get rid of the stickers and the 3rd side mirror and just roll.

That could have been a very sharp 50's custom.

That took some serious commitment. I can appreciate the effort, but I bet it looked pretty good before.

I think it is awesome how it is, minus the stupid stickers. Please remove them before the car gods get mad and make your engine get stuck. Ohh no, they are on their way, there is little time. P.S. they want a build thread too.

Just because it definitely might stand out in a pack doesn't necessarily mean it's because of positive reasons, and a '69 Camaro sounds like a much more sensible place to put the typical small block Chev motor and three speed automatic.
