i recently purchase a windshield frame for my 1932 3 window coupe. can anyone tell me the difference between the 3w and the 5w frames. the frame i bought has an arch to the top, and my 3w glass body opening is straight across at the top opening. i have a feeling i got ripped off on ebay motors. thanks.

I would have to say the frame is a three window without seeing a picture.

I spent many hours reworking the window opening on my glass body to fit a new frame. Check out my build.

Without seeing your windshield ... it is hard to really say what you have ...
But the top photo shows my 32 3 Window. It is a original, never messed with 3W and windshield.

    The second photos shows a 32 5w sitting besides a 32 3W ...

And the last photo is of a 32 5W ...

    Hope this HELPS ... :D

    :(

Unfortunately, a LOT of the fiberglass bodies are NOT really
very good reproductions of Henry's cars. Most of the middle to lower end 3W bodies end up using a glue - in S-10 windsheild rubber and a cut glass ... no windshield frame.

I usta have an '82 S-10 and I'm sure the rubber from it would work.

Glued in glass ,yech….. All steel bodies must be slightly different. When I sent a pattern for our Henry 3W to the windshield frame maker he did question the shape , the frame he made to my pattern fits perfectly. Just be aware one size does not necessarily fit all.
