NegativeMatt, I particularly like the narrowed Merc rear section on your truck is the dash also from the same donor? Is there any trunk access/room in there?! I know your gas tank has to take up much of that area. hat did you do for rear suspension, coilovers or coilsprings and shocks?

Chuckles Garage, The long lean look of the Civil Air Patrol Chevy is an inspiring design. I too like the long headlight buckets for the hood/grill combination you've got there. I was surprised at how much I like that truck in spite of the long bead! That may be due to the rearward position of the back axle ...?

Anyway guys, all good/exciting stuff to see! Thanks for sharing!

Pickups seem to be the toughest to get the proper PROPORTIONS....
If ya chop 'em, ya alomost gotta shorten the bed....and vice versa...can't do one without the other.....generally speaking.
If ya channel the cab, the bed needs to come down as well...otherwise it looks goofy with the bed rails lined up with the body reveal.....
Some great trucks here....Littleman's race truck and negativeMatt's show truck are two of my favs...

    My old beater...miss her sometimes....

    A couple:

Here's one that is semi-fenderless... ":High Noon" is the "Dream Car" April '10 issue of Rod and Custom Magazine.

And one that uses High-Roof Panel doors currently under construction here in Portland...
