I was reading your very first post on this thread. I was wonder why Javier Mejia, was removed from the HAMB ? Great thread,I love it. Thank you Groucho !
Yeah Groucho it was there, we had just finished the roof and the body.. The car was supposed to be a quick scuff and squirt... Leroy 707, we'll post up more pics of the Olds and some of another current project. Thanks for all the compliments, Erik
No, my bad! I was commenting on the link to the Lowrider Album on the very first post. Wanted ID of the car in the link I had provided. Sorry for the misunderstanding!
Oh my! That Starliner is the shit! The roof has some incredible graphics! When i grow up i wanna be a Autoholic! you guys define the word Kool! Caddy dude, you mean the orange one? its a 65/66 impala.
^^^^^ Thanks bonez...thats what I thought, but the front-end threw me off. Looks like the side of the front bumper was flushed out. Was thinking either 66 Impala or 66 Lesabre!!! Anyway, sweet car...I can sleep now!
You guys are just too much, I don't want to sound like a broken record, but you got the touch! Thanks for the pics!
And fine i'll add! Although your pal's poncho steals the show a bit PS no hydros or pumps sounds like no bags or air you knew that didnt ya J/K
That Chevy truck cab from Italy is some of the best panel work ive seen in a long time! The color choices are perfect and vibrant as all hell!!! I cant seem to NOT look at it everyday! I think im in love with it! lol
I mailed Romano, the owner, hopefully he'll send me sum more shots! Or he might just chime in w/ 'em.
^^ ah ah, i dont like the nose but i bet its interchangeable w/ the same year camaro or previous year trans ams, like the bull nose or else. Like some of these here.....ive taken'em from the Boulevardos Board muscle cars thread, im pretty sure ive posted a few here already but what the hell! This thread is goin slooooow lateley!
This Olds and the Chevelles are the shit to me right now! Check the liftin chevy...aint that cool! I mean, stock on lifts is totally OG! If i was goin to chose a new project today it would be one of them (or a 69 impala)! Edit: Oh yeah, the Malibu! I found that scan scavengin around my stack and thought i post it for Miguel to pass to his lil brother for inspiration....so he can stop fuckin around and build a clean ride!
Last one fer today! The chopped 72 has already been posted, the other one is from a french magaine, and i dont speak french at all. I only could understand is a US car. i like this style body (square-ish) w/ a healthy chop, i know it doesnt really belong but i still think both these are nice rides lowrider wise. I talk 2 much! c ya!
I remember seeing the Monte Carlo in 82 at the Leadsled spectacular in Des Moines Iowa. I think he was from San Diego CA. At one time I had a Picture of it.
Your right about it being at the KKOA event in Des Moines in '82, stanlow69.The car was built and owned by a headstone cutter named Stan from Louisville, Ky. He chopped and juiced it. Custom painter Danny Taylor did all the gorgeous pinstriping. Joel
