Isn't this the magazine that has the horrible feeling black and white pages? I'll have to go look through my stash tonight, but I could have sworn my older ones had horrible rough black and white pages, kinda like McDonalds toilet paper, and LOTS of 'em to boot? If not, then I must be thinking of something else.
I dig the magazine right much though I don't care for some of it but still a rather decent ***le. I really dug the low slung Angelina from a few months back from overseas man that thing was rad. While most are g***ers this thing was low and just looked spot on. The pics in the magazine really work. Two thumbs up from me.
No problem, man. And keep an eye out for my old tan, air bagged '66 F100, it just got shipped off to Wayne in the UK...
The occasional "broad" is ok with me. Adds something to a cool car. Good magazine. I'd like to see more early 60's styled customs featured in your magazine. Didn't you work at Hot Bike magazine at one time?
im kinda still on the fence wether i like it or not ive bought a couple issues i know this is going to sound strange but more coverage of 1950 -1965 cars would be cool not that i dont like 48 & older and i know thats what a "rod " is but every other mag covers those very well thats what i used to love about custom rodder they covered the 50 and up cars alittle more i must like it (the magazine) cause i keep buying it
I love World of Rods. My twin brother and I's Star Chiefs are in this issue. Check out pg. 92 - the Garage Scene column. Great magazine and the article was awesome, photo shoot was a blast too.
Anybody know who has them in the Minneapolis Minnesota area??!!!!?! The store I was getting it at doesn't seem to carry it anymore....
If you're having trouble finding it, you can subscribe by calling (866) 368-5651 and every issue will show up in your mailbox....
I hear my truck is in the March issue but I'll be darned if I can locate an issue anywhere I allways check if I'm at any store
Court has done a great job with the mag. I haven't seen one in awhile though unfortunately. I'll try to hit B&N tonight on the way to band practice.
Here I go again. Went to Barnes and Noble and guess what? That's one they decided to drop along with Rodders Journal. I was told that they were now in the Super WalMarts, no deal. Local truck stop that has handled them for the last year quit selling magazines. I guess I will have to get a subsciption. I sure as hell hope some other people can find them easier as I am running a full page ad for a year, They were very reasonable compared to the big 2 SR & R&C which I have had ads in for several years. They have gotten out of hand. World of Rods is a experiment for me as I have known some of the staff for years.
Hey everyone, Thanks for all the great comments regarding World of Rods, and you're right, Courtney has done a great job with the new look of the magazine, expect to see more of his expertise in furture issues. Without a doubt one of the best editors I've worked with over many years. Ken Ad Czar, World of Rods
WOW Did I just get fooled !!! What a decieving cover on the new issue!!! ( bare metal coupe) I mean come on guys, people are saying this is geared towards tradition,I guess your right in a Boyd Coddington kind of way. If you are into billet stearing wheels, tilt columns, radial tires, custom center counsels with your stereo looking at you then this mag is for you. Um Can I get my five bucks back ???? I should of bought the homeless dude outside the store a couple of beers with the money instead.
