Jalopy Showdown '10

I started going to the Latimore dirt track in the late 90's with the Inliner's group and the track management would let us do a lap on the dirt. The HAMB group has made this #1 on my must go to list!!!

I plan on going, been there the last 4 or 5 years, great time we need more events like this

We the Iron Lords should be there for the most part. I am crossing my fingers so that I can bring my '35 Coupe but if not, the '52 will have to do! Excited!!!!

Was a blast last year, hopefully I'll have the new speedster ready and "broken in" by the time this year's show rolls around.

Its NEVER too early to think about the Showdown!! Sometimes I think about the next one right after the current one..sometimes DURING the current one! Best show EVER!!

I'm gonna have to be there this year. I miss it every time, but I'll make SURE I'm there.

 

I'd love to bring the Scotty camper out and stay for the weekend, but it explicitly says NO DOGS, and well, that's not gonna fly with my dogs, since they need to be fed.

 

We leave Friday morning and home Sunday, rain or shine. Just like death and taxes you can be sure Larry will come through each year. This is the best and then there's the rest.

Well, it looks as though Vicki and I can make it this year after all.

Would anyone be interested in touring the Gettysburg battlefield on Sunday after the show?

We could start at the new visitors center and then cruise the park roads. We could spend as much time as the whole day or just a part of the day.

If we have enough interest (16 people minimum) we can get a group rate for the visitor center and save a few bucks on the admission to the exhibits.
There is no fee for just visiting the park, just admission to the visitors center. We can get info for self guided tours or tapes, bus tour, or personal guide who rides with you in your car.
