Great to meet you too! :). I do have a mII and i love it! I know! the best part about this show is that it's small and everybody is friendly. It's all about the passion for cars no matter what you're into! Good times! Thank god were not all into the same shit! It would suck!

Thanks for the pics Ian! Met you at Gene Winfields place when Skoty Chops interviewed him. It was your "maiden trip" with the Chevy. I knew then it was the nicest custom Chevy I've ever seen!

Ian, First great car and i'm glad Blackie picked you for the show.. I was lucky enough to be picked for the show in '94 with my '33 Roadster. And like you i drove from Orange Co. i remember it being very cold going over the Grape Vine early in the morning.. When i got to the show and was pulling in the grounds to get into the building one of the workers signing up cars as they came in took a look at my car with bugs all over the front he walks over and says to me "you must have brought your car up on an open trailer" after i stopped laughing i told him i didn't even own a car that would pull a trailer.. It took almost the rest of the day to clean it up..
Good luck and hope you win your class, but just driving makes you a winner...

Hey Jeff, thanx man!! Yes my first set of bias plies!! WTF right? Oh well, this is my first 50's automobile!! Bias plies will be on the 62 ford too when it's back on the road!! BOOM DONE!!

  14. Oh I didnt know it was your first, mine too. I dont know what kind you are running but I have always thought the same thing.... What is everyone talking about these bias plys drive fine. I have ran three different brands(firestone,Denman,Goodyear) and I will vouch for Goodyear supercushions , they drive great. Anyway your sled looks great,I wish I was up there, I was invited but just couldnt make it.

Great images Ian!!! You car definitely deserves to be there with the heavies if not stands out at the top. It looks great and will look better after a year or two more of rock chips on the front end. Badges of honor my man!!!!

The '36 Cabriolet and OZ's '54 are definitely pretty cool too!
