we were gonna do a coupe roof actually, however the elements got the better of the coupe, so back to a sedan. But the good thing is I already have all the sedan gear, so makes a little easier job. And with a family, the extra head room can help!

Shainerman is on a budget, and he's not an idiot, wire wheels and grinding discs are cheap!

I suggest leaving out the rear quarter windows. Seems that tudors just look cleaner that way.

found some holes in the a post next to the windshield, and made up a patch for that corner.

    Drivers door top is done,

And the passenger side is fitted and ready to clean and weld, I'll have to make a couple patches to fill in the rest of the corners.

and then weld the lip back on both sides of the window opening.

Looks awesome Jay!!! Thanks for seeing the holes on the pillar too. And yeah Rick, ill give you a buzz this weekend. Maybe we can have a grinding party for the top, haha.

  16. Looks good, don't take this as criticism but I kind of think if I'd had that opportunity in front of me? I'd have measured out and seen how much work to stick a Chevy Fleetline top on it. Just to mess with people when it's done.

Would be a lot more welding wire and grinding discs in that job though -

  17. Good work Jay.

Why didn't you take it to a soda blaster and clean the rust off it before you welded it on...??? That's the first thing I'd have done, sure would have made for an easier paint job...and an easier job of glueing insulation in...

    Nice job on it tho...
