Just finished up our 1947 5 window Chevy PU

 

nice, looks good, makes me want another.

 

this is my granfathers 52 he bought it in 57

 

She sits just right...sweeeet!!!

 

Heres a shot of my last one a '48 long box and the black '54 I currently have as a project!!

 

This one is one my son and I are putting together. To open wheel or to not to open wheel thats the question.

black one is a 53 i had, buddy kept bugging me to buy it and sold it to him and this is what he had done to it, i belive its for sale now

this post just hangs on to make me look bad! lol. page one June 2006, wow time sure flies when your having fun.
I have all the pieces piled all around the shop, the truck has been in the dead zone for the last couple years. just dug it out and it's in the front stall again. just need to finish the headers and run the brake lines and I can start bolting it back together. the body and bed are just laying on the frame to make it a roller.

 

I recently picked up this '53. I'll be working on it next Spring as funds allow.

 

Now that I'm not working maybe I'll get some time to put some work into the truck. It's just so damn cold out these days. How come they couldn't have let me go in May? haha.

Looks like a nice start to a project.

I'm thinking about putting a 3 window cab on my flatbed truck.

 

This is a very nice 54 Hydromatic motivated one ton (250 model) that came out of the Dakotas by way of Minnesota. Restored a while back and still in nice shape. Great driver. It is for sale, so PM me if you are seriously interested.

 

Wow, a 4 year old thread, that's still active.

Here's my 54 bought a year ago. I've just gotten started on the clean up,restore and some mods. I bought it from the fella that mounted the cab and bed on a shortened 89 Suburban 4x4 frame.
