This weekend I'm just gonna drive it...

  3. Hopefully driving it up to Red Deer to check out the swap meet. It snowed last night though so we'll see...

  4. I think I will rip the frontend apart to change out the bushings brakes and possibly the king pins.
But alas the weekend hasn't oficially started yet and things could change on a moments notice.

I wanted to get my driveshaft rebalanced and fitted to my '52 this weekend so I can get it back home and start driving but I am under the gun to get some of the nursery done so I guess it'll have to wait till next week. Might screw around on my '35 this weekend later at night when my time frees up.

The weather here in Fresno is supposed to be beautiful. Yesterday I flushed the cooling system out so hopefully the car is good to go. I'd really rather drive it than work on it this weekend. ;)

"The ride"...my '37 Chevy coupe...is getting a new owner and new home. The buyer is coming from Pennslyvania to pick it up early Sunday morning. He says he's gonna build a gasser. That's cool. I didn't really wanna sell it, but if I'm ever gonna get my roadster built...

  9. Replacing the taillights (blue dots) in my '40 Ford coupe with a set of Technostalgia LEDs. Sure hate to give up my blue dots, but the LEDs are much brighter and much brighter = much safer! Received 'em the other night and they look great!

I'm driving the roadster to Barry Whites Speed Shop (SRRC) for a private tour w/ our club.
Since he does alot of billet builds- I'll probably have to park down the street ;)
Wont know until tomorrow if we are touring Marcel Delay's shop too.

You might be pleasantly surprised, not everything is a "billet build" .

As for my weekend , tomorrow I'm going to have b-fast with some of my club guys , and Sunday the wife and I are going on a little cruise down Coast Hwy thru north San Diego county.

Going to try and find a radiator hose that fits the 283 I just put in, using the stock 50 radiator. Also plan on cleaning up the drive shaft/trans yoke that's been sitting outside for a year :p May 15th, chi'rens.....May 15!

I'm finally going to install the Locker and install the dash with previously mounted gages.
Then we are going to kick the tires and light the fire.

    Already started..

Met some folks tonight. Incredible builders..varied projects from very traditional hot rod to nut and bolt restoration..to show cars and drag cars..a VERY interesting evening..with some down to earth good folks with mad skills..
Some of us will meet up tomorrow night at a little show..

But the best will be this week.. I was invited to a couple shops where the magic is happening..
