Projects My erection has lasted more than 4hrs. Should I see a Doctor?

I took my car for its first drive today. You have no idea how happy I am. It has been a long time in the works but I finally reached my goal. Still more work to do, windows, interior ect. but I'll be on the road for the summer. I know for alot of you old hands this may not seem like a big deal. This is my first car project of of any kind and I did it all my self except for the pinstriping.
HOWEVER, and MOST IMPORTANT I want to take this opportunity to than all my fellow HAMB members. If it were not for your encouragement, insperation and fellowship their is NO WAY I could have pulled it off. It is truly humbling being part of this board and community. Thank you so very very much. i think any less than 4 hours would be cause for alarm. that is a great looking ride, keep it up (pun intended) and enjoy.

I know the feeling of seeing everyone out with their rides in the spring and yours is still in a million pieces, and it sucks. Enjoy dude!

It is a Astatic harmonica mic. You can find them on EBAY. They are pretty pricey but if you are patient you can find one cheap. I got mine for $10. It had not guts in it but who cares. It is one of the cool points on the car. Todd

Sure know the feeling of getting the first real project like that out on the road and coming back without having to be rescued...... Most of us are not blessed with unlimited funds and have to sorta cobble things along the best we can like your wood body lift set up. I mocked up the subframe I was putting into my project out of wood. Had to make sure everything would fit right the first time since it tied in to the X frame as well as the main rails.

I shop out as little as possible because the sweat you spend on a project like you have yields a more gratifying ride than a bought one and really makes it your own. Way to shop for the mic shifter knob! The dice in my avatar was a bobble head thing I picked up for a buck and modified to go on the rear speaker cover in the rear window. All a part of the cool thing of hot rodding......
