Seems like the "professional" car collector folks (ie:he****s) would love to do something with that old dodge. Shame it's just rotting.

No, but my friends got a clean '74 Olds out of this yard.

I'm getting out of the Old Iron derbies but I'll still do the compacts. I've just got too many street cars and a race car to work on. In fact, just sold my '71 Satellite wagon. I figure with the compact cars, I can build one the same week as the derby and still have my fun.

If someone gets it, I have a shed full of trim for a '59 Dodge 4dr. Hopefully some of it would work on this car. Just PM me an address after you buy it. I'm not going to do anything with this stuff.

 

A Dodge ambulance like that was probably rare even when it was new, if you told me they built more than 100 of them I'd be surprised.

That Dodge would have to undergo an exorcism before I would even try to move it! Creepy.

 

Memphis Coach Co. were the only ones building on a Chrysler ch***is at the time and probably were the ones who built it. Weller Bros also of Memphis built some Plymouth based cars and could be one of theirs too. Either way, its a rare car made in small numbers and should be saved if at all possible.

 

I agree, the face on that thing is brutal.
