Gotta love those early Pro Stockers! While the new ones are quicker and faster and all, they are no where nearly as cool or fun to watch as the early ones were.

  5. Sweet...the orange version is way cool, and I'm glad to see it with the five-spokes on it.

    NEW CLASS:

Those crazy altereds never did get that much ink for some reason. I guess one reason is because AHRA, & NHRA put a ban on the AA/FA. Another reason is that most of the AA/FA from the west coast ddidn't go on tour. There was some but a lot didn't come east.

The east had a few but not as many that was on the west coast.

    The fans love them though.

Now that I think of it, it wasn't always who had the baddest AA/FA who won. It was who went the straightest.

Will be switching to new class.

I don't know what I'm going to do with the F/C class as I got over 100 photos of the Shoe. Who really wants to see them page after page. I might be able to work them out as there are a lot more cars that beging with "S"

Also the Shoe had many differnt colored cars so it might not be to bad.

Why so many Shoe photos you may asked. Max of L & M films said that Shoe would buy just about any photo of his cars. I doubt if still does that today.

  27. The configuration of this Corvette is pretty strange. Looks like the driver is over the rear as in a Comp Coupe.

Rich, that's the old Dye-Hampton twin Fiat under there...might explain why it looks so odd
