A search will get you all the mid 50's stuff you want, but you would have to search for each make, there was a 54-56 Buick thread just a few weeks ago, and there have been Ford, Dodge, and every other one done as well. What you were trying to get was most likely to general. Or you search skills are lacking. But then since you're gonna call us "bitchly little school girls" I'm just gonna blame it on you being an idiot. Get over yourself.

  8. zman,
me, get over myself? dont think so
im not one of the ones posting on everybodys thread the "why dont you do a search this topic has been covered a thousand times". B.S.

not that you told me to do that ^

and im not one of the ones trying to show everyone how smart i am by telling people that the phrase they use to describe something (to make it more quick and clear) is not the right term like there is some kinda law or something

so, if the next post i make asks to see some pics of "stovebolts"( and i dont specify chevys only)
( do you think that some guys with cool olds, ponchos, buicks from the same years will post pics of thiers)

OR am i gonna get do a search that was covered 5 years ago ........................................

cry me a river then give me a boat

  9. It's a '56. There still seems to be quite a few '55-'57 unrestored Fords out there. I went to several local shows last summer and saw only a few Fords. But lots of Chevies. Styling on both is great, along with many other mid 50s. BTW, the backend of that panel is a '53-57 Ford.

took all of about 15 seconds

hmmm, 5 years ago, I don't think so. and really a 5 year old thread on them would of been great to add to now. and really for HAMB friendly rides, 5 year old threads are just as good.:p as for the boat, well you seem to be crying enough to float yourself.

  12. It's a fairly rare (1383 built) Pontiac sedan delivery. Being Canadian-built, it came with a 261 as a factory motor, and all Chev undercarriage. It had a built 350 in it now, along with a th350 and 57 Pontiac rear. Plans are long term - it's abig lego set now.

Well, there's a famous saying that goes kinda like this "AS AMERICAN AS MOM, BASEBALL, APPLE PIE, AND CHEVROLET!";) "SEE THE U.S.A IN YOUR CHEVROLET!":p

Whoo Hoo Belair, I had to save that photo you posted in post 41 and will have to show it to my wife who grew up in McGregor.

That's an official here's my car in Texas in the spring photo for sure.

I'm not going to get in the big middle of these guys pissing contest but a
    Tri-5 is Chevrolet
Deuce is 32 ford and nothing else
Shoebox is 49-51 Ford and nothing else
No matter what anyone else wants their stuff to be.

But= I would a hell of a lot rather see any and all of the cars that were posted on the last three pages then any three pages of tri-5 Chevrolets anywhere on the net or in print. Great bunch of cars that were posted even the ones hiding in the trees. Now if my wife just hadn't said that the 57 Starchief I had 25 years ago was too damned ugly for her to ride in it I might have a photo to show.

Since we seem to be into Fords now, here's a '56 tudor that I did the bodywork on...note the frenched '54 Ford headlight (rims), nosed, decked, door handles removed, bumper pans modified to lower the bumper 1 1/2 inches, '59 Buick taillights, Pontiac trim, drip rails filled and shortened at the rear window and Plym grille...R & P interior by owner Ed Banes...Back Street Kustoms (Co. Springs, CO) paint...

I may be wrong but isn`t a 62 Chevy Nova also referred to as a Deuce.

  24. Haha, yep, a 62 Nova is often called a deuce, and a 2 and a half ton tandem axle military truck is called a deuce-and-a-half. Now can I call my 61 Apache an ace? Then if I had 2 61 Apaches and 3 62 Novas would I have a full house? Or a full garage? My bwain is overloaded....

  25. My 55 dodge(I mean the wifes).It's a little bit Kustom.
