Finally found a copy of Hot Rod Deluxe

My local mag vendor finally got me a copy of the May issue. Hats off to the entire staff for great pics and lots of history from the 40's, 50's and 60's drag racing teams. David Freiburger is the cats.

 

I like it. Its a good mag for the money.

 

Its one of the best magazines out there.

 

The only one I was able to find this year was the January issue.... And it ROCKS!! The only let down was the Model Tease article which left out a bunch of great info and more pictures... I could help finish that article with some pictures of those older 1/8 scale kits from the early '60's

Living in Japan, that's my source. Although with shipping it ends up being about $11 a copy, the quality lately is such I don't mind.

 

I think I paid 14 bucks for an issue a few weeks ago - bloody hell it was 5 bucks in the US when I bought it in LA last year!!! Oh yeah - I gotta get there first

 

Hot Rod Deluxe is a great mag. I've got every issue but the 2nd one. Now if they would only offer subscriptions!

 

got a small pic of my car in the march issue, as well as some of my friends. my car is on page 22 if anyone has march issue and wanted to check it out they named it mishmash. friends truck "defender" is on page 23. it is a great mag there are several really good pics
