I wish to contact the owner of this '32 Five window that was shown at Redwood City last summer. When I sold it (1998) he worked at UAL in the machine shop. As I remember his last name was Brown.
Wish I could help you Rich, that looks like one nice '32. How about letting us in on the particulars of the car while your waiting for that all important lead? Frank
It was the remains of an old Drag Race car when I bought it for $75 in 1965. Here is a picture of it with my 270 GMC as it appeared in '78 when it set the **/Alt record at Bonneville. Stock 32 frame boxed with home made front crossmember to replace cracked OEM part and home made K member to replace gone OEM part. Nine inch rear, '34 front axle 158.814 MPH. Later put a 392 in it for nostalga drags but found I didn't like nostalga drags. Sold the car in '98 when I retired to a young guy from South City I think who worked in the Machine Shop at UAL-SFO
It's a race car. Has been for 50 years. No plates. Guy must live within 20 miles of me. Somebody must know him.
Plan on that. I would like to buy back the blow shield if he isn't going to use it. Which I don't think he will need it with the SBC in it now. Thanks. Plan on hearing from me next week.
