Help Me Pick a Paint Job-50Merc <HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Hey All,, I dont know how many of you have used, or know about House of Kolors program you can purchase to help you pick colors, pain themes, and even chrome mouldings for you car. Its awesome. This isnt exactly what I'm driving. My car is a 4 door, but it does give me a good idea of what my car would possibly look like. T.. Anyway can you guys give me a vote as to what you like best? Thanks...
Number 3 in my opinion, however at the end of the day, you're the one that's going to have to look at it more than anyone else on here. Paint it how you want, just my thoughts.
I voted for # 3 ... but kinda wished I'd had a fourth choice. I really like that maroon -- red -- whatever. Why don't you paint the whole car that color??
Because I think the old days were about multiple colors. I not only like 2 tones, but I also like the nostalgic aspect of it.. It's going to get scalloped as well... I really love all of them. I am leaning towards 3 myself.. Sam Barris 53 Convertible, and Jay Johnston's Shoebox is what is messing with me. I can't decide which of these 2 great cars I want to go with. That is the reason for #2...
Only 1 vote for #2.. Gees I was hoping it would be more popular. I'm wasn't really sure about it, but thought it might get someone to convince me it was nicer than I thought..
Its Funny on hotroddes.com they love #1.. Man, I guess when it's time to pull the trigger I better make the right decision...
Tony - Flip the colors on #3. I voted for 3 but would like to see how it looks reversed. Could be bad, could be good...? -Chris
first off, that pontiac trim will not work like you have shown on any of those...i do like the color scheme on number three though if you can get the trim issue worked out... ..doubt you are, but you aren't wanting to paint the trim on are you? just happened to think about that and hoped to all hell you are not
I prefer #3, but there is still something essentially unbalanced about it...perhaps a "spear" of the maroon cutting back along the top of the door line (like a single scallop) to even it out, or making the A pillars the same tan as the roof.....hmmmm
