    Usually the buyer arrange shipping.

I bought a 1949 Caddy, in CA back in 2004, and I arranged the whole thing. All the seller had to do was to be home when the truck came to pick up the car.

I ***ume you have already talked about money transfer and such?

Oh, and thank you for dealing with it instead of running away scam-scared LOL ;-)

Hey 34 - you are in luck. I ship cars all the time as I am a buyer for several shops in Europe.
You can get cheaper quotes out of LA but I learned from bad experiences in Los Angeles to take all my business to a shipping place in Oakland. Yes I really have cars that I buy in SoCal shipped up north because my employers appreciate their cars arriving undamaged and without stolen parts or crazy-*** up-charges. Aladdin Freight has the best service in the business!

Ask for Kristine - she is the owner and after 50 some cars a friend of mine.
You are welcome to use me as a reference.
You can call me with questions

For some additional insight on experience, call Jay at American Pastimes Hot Rod shop (916) 944-6602, he just shipped his truck overseas about six months ago.

  7. I sent a motor to Germany. it went to Oliver Zinn's Moparshop. He arranged everything from there. It was for the lemans nacsar project. All I had to do was drain & it load it. BAX Global i think it was. Also BIGBLOCk MOPAR Herman I am sure knows how to do this and he is a Hamber. Herm ,were are you?

I've gotten a few quotes to do this but never sold one. Megan, ChevyGirlRox, has shipped a few cars overseas as well but it certainly sounds like these guys know what they are doing!

I build motors for the European hot rod market. I ship about twice a month to Berlin by way of Bremerhaven. My broker picks up the loads there and hauls it to Berlin. I have shipped at least 15 cars and trucks also. I deal with Able Cargo 310-549-0600 Marin is my agent & she is German and can talk directly with your customer. Very nice people and they are in L.A. area (Carson) any questions just PM me

I am liking the sound of this... The Caddy is located in San Jose, so when it's time to bring it home, Oakland is a better option for me than Long Beach any day of the week...
