Ok, I have searched and found nothing. I also called Cragar, and Coker. I am trying to put My cragar ss's on my Buick and I have lug bolts, not lug nuts. Have any of you guys ran into this and if so what did you do to over come this opstical(sp?)? Thanks guys... Abner
Drill the hubs for wheel studs. I've done several mopars and a few Buicks. A good auto parts store should have a Dorman Products catalog with a huge variety of lug studs to pick from. You should pay particular attention to serrated shank length and diameter and, of course the stud thread size. You will probably want 1/2" - 20 threads. The existing wheel bolt hole may be suitable for pressing in new studs without drilling, as the serrations could broach the existing threads.....but probably the best route to take is to drill them clean. I think you will want about a .015" to .020" press fit. And DO press them in.......resist the notion of hammering them in place. Ray
I run them on my '60 too. Real simple to install thru the original holes. Excuse the ugly locking lug in this photo, I don't trust my neighbors all that much.
He still has some other ads listed on that site, maybe you could contact him and see if he still sells them: http://epage.com/js/about/n0/208016 http://epage.com/js/mi/n0/1778639.html
I got my wheel studs at Pep Boys. I cleaned them out and picked up a few more at the local Advance Auto. Most parts stores should carry them.
