Everything that you eat or drink contains micro bots - they attach themselves to the lining of the large intestine - when enough are accumulated they join together and form tiny transmitters - other bots are then commanded to assemble in other parts of the body where they collect all sort of internal and external information - this info is then transmitted via microburst to the World Governmental Congress and entered to our life files.

    4tl8ford,
I can tell from your response that you are a confirmed, determined, believer in all things conspiracy related. Are you paranoid, also? Fear not, as I too am a confirmed, committed paranoid as well. I think you either inherit it from your kids OR you get it from being infected with the hot rod/old truck disease.

Thought about just installing one of the car track devices, not to much $$
but have a monthly fee. Looked into them with three teenagers , never actually did anything. The idea of being able to go online anytime and see where your car is located would be kool. Think that would give you the best chance of finding your car. By the time law inforcement gets around to filling out forms and finishing coffee & donuts your to late. Have to hide the transmitter, some have there own battey so they wouldn't be disabled if the car battery were disconected. Just grab the laptop round up some backup and set thing straight!!!

Pure satellite radio receiver? No. However, if the satellite radio receiver has a GPS component / link such as OnStar, then yes it can.

Clarification. A geosynchronous satellite does not orbit, or make trips, around the earth, but orbits "with" the earth. Like Charlie says, it's parked above the earth in the same spot. Otherwise we'd have to have tracking mechanisms on our DISH Network/Direct TV dishes.

If you don't pay for it, it just doesn't work. About like not paying your satellite dish or cable bill. My daughters HHR that she bought used that has OnStar and she has never had it activated (or hadn't the last time she talked about it).

We do need a system like that that we can buy for our cars that has a lot of the same features.

I think we all need to work on putting some simple anti theft device on our rigs even if it is a hidden toggle switch in the wire from the ignition switch to the coil or a pushbutton switch in the start switch wiring so that on has to push the hidden button along with turning the key. I have that in my daily for another unrelated reason and it turns out to be something simple that keeps the truck from being started when the key alone is turned.

I was in the USAF from 1967 (when helicopters were either gray or green) until 1989 (when they were all black)
I helped develop the first true black helicopter.
Oh crap! now I have to shoot myself again.

  17. I've never owned a cell phone, but maybe someone here can answer a question.

If a coworker or customer with a cell phone is standing near one of our computer workstations, it will occasionally create some electrical interference with the computer's speakers. Usually for just a couple seconds there will be a few bursts of what I can only describe as a kind of pulsing static. It sounds a bit like the sound of a fax being transmitted, only at a lower frequency. In a few instances the cell phone will ring a few seconds later, but not very often.

The only thing that I can imagine is that the phone occasionally sends out a signal looking for the nearest or strongest signal it can find to work properly. Is it as simple as that, or is there something more invasive going on?

Also, you might not be aware that when you send a photo from your camera-phone you might also be sending latitude and longitude map coordinates which can pretty accurately pinpoint the location where the photo was taken. Any software that reads the image's EXIF info will likely display it.

Maybe something to consider when you post pics of your favorite, secret junkyard. Or some shots of all the cool stuff you've got stashed away in your garage or house.

Some of the higher end digital cameras offer this ability as well, but I don't think they tend to include this information by default.

  18. Honestly, at the end of the day, all you can do when it comes to the theft of your hot rod, is to use your head about where you park it, and have good insurance coverage. I love my Mercury, but if someone steals it and screws it all up, I doubt I'd want it back. Making sure that you're covered properly is the answer, not secret James Bond tracking systems and such.

  19. LOL! Well just try to make it a simple flesh wound! And this time do it outside in the yard.

So were the first black helicopters painted flat black? Did they have red wheels and crazy looking exhaust pipes sticking up in the air? Were the seats made out of old shopping carts and lawn chairs? :D

Well, "they" had satellites before 1964 (and it was radio controlled)...think "Sputnik" in 1957...Russia scared the hell out of all the CIA and all the politicians...knowing the Ruskies (our cold war enemy) were capable of putting a satellite in orbit...

If someone stole my car I'd be out riding around aimlessly like the crazy amish looking dude in No Country for Old Men looking for his bag of money.

  28. Why...you trying to hide? hahaha!!!
Lojack is the best set up.

  29. They can use the radio and your cell phone of course if thats in your car.
i use to have a phone that you could turn the gps off but a few hours later i would check it and it would be on again. Here in Texas im not sure if it happend anywhere else, the dps offered to anyone interested a cool
Texas flag winshield mounted card. the card would ping @ various locations around loop 410 and 1604 i think it was to monitor trafic flow remotely with out having to use helicopters but then a mass of cameras
    went up instead.

i own a repo company ..and looked around at differant tracking companys to track my drivers..some of the car lots i work for ,use them on there cars..but the cost run from $250 up to 1000..so i ended up adding a $50 verizon phone to my plan with a kid tracker ..10 bucks a month if the phone is not used..works great..they have no idea its there..i hid it under the extended cab seat..i charge it weekly ..it even tells me how fast there goin..which is great..cause i have told them not to do over 70 mph..the only set back is having to remember to charge it
