found it setting in a field that was a farm at one time. It came with a ***le from 1944. Im going to try and save it......... anyone have any steal fenders forsale.
I got there just in time he said a portable crusher was ***ing to town for a junk yard down the street and they were giving 300.00 per car and if i could beat that price i could have it......

There might be a frame for it in a local junkyard, dont know the condition as I never really looked at it since its just a cab and frame and nothing else. The donor car looks to good to cut up.

If the donor is a '39, I'd be interested in one of those spare grills.

Boy I think I'd either repair or build a new frame for the truck and fix up or sell the donor car. That car looks to be in pretty nice condition. I sure would have a hard time cutting that up! Any full side pictures of the car? Either way cool score for sure!

Dam, nice score from da U.P. eh?! This proves that they're still out there. I was stationed up at K.I.Sawyer AFB in the early 70s, driving on some of those roads out around Gwinn & down toward HappyRock, we'd see similar stuff sitting all over the place. Lots of it might be gone now but I bet not all of it.

S**** prices took its toll here, still some stuff sitting. Usually not out in the open though. Raceron, you should see Sawyer now. It turned into low income housing once the base shut down. About 80% needs to be bulldozed now.
