Rules? Cmon. I thought it was a bunch of guys who love old cars dude. Sorry to offend you by not reading the "Rules".

 

That's a damn nice Chevy you got there Ghost....now why the **** would you buy one that nice and then chop it up? Come on dude, get a clue, that ride is perfect the way it is. If you want to chop one then get one that isn't as clean. Find one with some cancer problems in the pillars. If you do have a GT-R I'm sure you could afford to buy another 50 Chevy to chop up and leave that beauty alone. I'm currently going frame off on a 50 Styline deluxe 2-dr so I take choppin a clean one up kinda personal. Maybe if you do this "whip" up good enough, you know just like they do on Pimp My Ride, then maybe you can make it into one of those real car mags like "Heavy Hitters" or "Donk, Box, & Bubble". sometimes i think we as a group jump the gun,and maybe we should focus on maybe we can help this guy correct his terms ,you know we all start somewhere but we found this site because somebody took the time to show us.so i say welcome and you have a nice car and that this site is not one for th words rat rod,its a hot rod or traditional styled rod or custom im glad to see another like minded person.

What is wrong with taking a clean car that does not have any cancer and making it look bad *** by chopping the top. I know that there are purists out there but that is not me. The thing that I love about cars is that they are so personal. So I would never be a critic on what someone has done to his own car. His car is his personality. It seems like a lot of people dont agree with me in here. So if you want to closed minded... I will never understand that.

 

Just teasing you, it's your car do what you will with it. You should say screw it and turn it into a jet engined drag car. That would be an impressive build to follow.

Nothing wrong with buying a clean car and making it your own. It's just seeing something THAT clean and imagining someone cutting it up is very cringe-worthy. Nothing wrong with a chop, either. But when I see words like "whip", "rat", and "lay frame" I tend to discard any serious undertones (or overtones) intended by the author. Nothing against you or any skill you may have, it's one of those "guilty by ***ociation" things. Just thinking about it makes me think of "sick" or "ill" or a set of rimzz (eww...I just inappropriatly used Z's) being off "tha chayne".

Chances are you really have the same tastes as the lot of us here. **** it up. Take your licks. Now search "Rockstar" & "Rockstars" and I think you'll find what you want. Also check out this link:
