Fitchburg Ma. swapmeet in 2 weeks whos goin

Car show and swapmeet at Fitchburg airport in 2 weeks whos goin? This is a good one , hopefully we'll have some good weather.

 

I will be there maybe we should set a time for a meet and greet gonna try to be there early myself looking for parts for my A

 

Our club, the Dominators Hot Rod Club, will be there in our usual spot near the tall grass selling of our unwanted treasures.
Bring cash, boots and warm clothing and get there by dawn.

 

What time does the gate actually open for the car show area? Their flyer says 8:00AM, a bunch of us always meet there at 7:00 and the event is already in full swing. Is it like Amherst, arrive with a flashlight?

 

I cant wait! That's my dead line to get my car back on the road.

 

Should I haul these 16" wire wheels with radials mounted all the way over there with the rest of the Ford treasure??????....... I'll be with Jetmek as we offer model A and early Ford stuff for sale. Look for "Go Devil Garage" sign with a model A engine on a display trailer.

Looking for 41 trim pieces.

 

I'll be there,hopefully good weather so I can drive my roadster.

i'll probably be there, but the 2nd annual illegal mini bike race is at 9 on that morning so i'll be there a little later

I'll be the guy carrying that stuff you guys were gonna buy but decided to look around a little more and maybe offer the guy 5 bucks less next time you walk down that row.

I'll also be the guy looking for early guide headlight top marker housings (the ones with the small reveal)

 

The weather isn't looking to promising. I'm going anyway, screw the weather.

Yesterday morning the forcast was for rain Saturday with Sunday only cloudy...today they're forcasting rain on Saturday and Sunday...tomorrow they'll be forcasting Sunday to be sunny!!!....please??????

Weather .com says 40% chance of rain. That should mean 60% chance I'll be dry. Good enough for me.

My favorite small show/swap meet/get-together in the country bar none. I really miss not being in the area to attend that event. It is the "official" kick off of spring in New England.
PLEASE don't let rain stop you from going!

Ok went today,saw abunch of people I havent seen sense last year,it was cold,wet,not as many vendors,or cars,and lots of high priced tin,but damnit,still was fun.

 

It was cold and wet, but that didn't seem to matter much. Good to see everyone out.

I should have brought my camera (I thought it would be too wet). I would have taken a picture of a few things including the engine of the roadster with the flathead v8 with a vintage blower and twin weber carbs (I think they were Weber unless I remembered wrong). I would have also taken a picture of the trunk of the "dragon powered" rusty old coupe for sale and the purple 38 Dodge 2 door sedan. It was fun but my feet were still hurting from yesterday.
