i got the opportunity to see asia for a few hours friday night and she is doing much much better. the swelling has gone down quite a bit and she is starting to look like her old self again. the oral surgeon is waiting to do surgery or to make her a temporary bridge until the swelling goes down more, so she sounds a bit like yosemite sam in the mean time.

 

Holy shit how I missed this I dont Know. Seeing that pic of Asia's crash made me feel sick to my stomach. I have known Asia for a number of years she is a really sweet person who didnt deserve this at all. She is really into cars and has been active around the bay area for the last 10 to 12 years. I made a donation I encourage others that are able to please do the same. I cant make the benefit show but will pass the word along to my friends and try to get donations going from them.

Joe is pulling his hair out this week because of everything going on this coming weekend (we are attending 2 other shows, too) and he is now doing all the accounting since Asia can't. He put me in charge, give me a call.

Studhud just sent me the link. My prayers and wish's are with this young lady as she begins her recovery. I lost a son to a drunk driver so any time I see something like this it breaks my heart. The other day I left a post saying building cars is all about the cars. Thats so untrue as its also about the friends and people you meet along the way. SEND IN THE DONATIONS!!!

Wow - what a terrible situation . . . glad she is on the mend. I sent a few $$$ to help her on her way. Would love to see the other SoCal operations put some effort into this . . .
