Welcome to the HAMB Rustoutchevy, nice pickup. You might want to post an introduction before the web police get you.

Unless I'm mistaken, that is a one-piece window kit.

Define "cut to shit". Like, the inner fenders were clearanced for the engine? Or like it's just a cab on a tube frame pretending to be a '32 Ford?

Here's mine: I've taken the grill apart and will go with chrome bars and repaint the rest and will change to 16" rims/tires. I have the vent windows and door glass in though. My take on an early 50's mild custom (lots of subtle changes). This was just after I finished it in 2006 (has it been that long).

That's sweet...subtle change is the way to go, keeps that OG look with your own personal touch.

Nice ride ...... I'd be leaving the white grille ..... it set off against the baby blue real well.

Oddly enough, when I got it back in '94 in Oceanside, Ca. it had a 69 GM truck front cross member (they bolt to the frame) with the suspension. I'm using the the steering box too and needed some tweaking to fit better as well. I kept it and needed to narrow the A-arms, a huge undertaking. But the draw back was when I cut the coils, I could not cut any more and had to use the drop spindle for a lil more drop. But this screwed with the A-arms as well. So narrowing kinda killed two birds with one stone. Fixed the geometry (angle) and narrow for fit. But, I want the front tires in at least another 1/2" in more (a lil too wide for my liking, tucked in just a bit more). With the drop spindles had to do the disc-brake route and most back space is 3". Everything works well and no problems what so ever. So the 16" rims should clear the calipers and get what I want. It's been a thorn on my ass and won't feel good till then. The back is de-arched springs with an 1" block. Thanks for the compliments fellas. A lot of Gems on this thread too!!
