Yes, we do have 2.25" Porters! Maybe you didn't see them there. Thanks for thinking about going with them! You will love them!

I prefer my pipes going out the sides and not out the back. My 66 C-10 with a 355 with Vortex Gl***packs (mounted backwards) and going out the sides sounds pretty good going down main street with buildings on both sides. You get hear the pipes echoing off of the buildings. I also got a nice clean rap with my setup, no pops or crackles, sounded just like a jake brake.

I realize that having the pipes out the sides wouldn't be the best if you're going to put on flame throwers. Might piss of the other guys in the lineup!!

[IMG] go with some nice stainless steal -steel packs(these are 12 in) the shorter the deaper the tone.Take note I also use lap style clamps-no crushing clamps to f up your new mufflers and its never a problem to switch them out to try other mufflers....any painted mufflers will look like **** in no time.I picked these up on e-bay $100 free shipping for both-they were on mark down -are just like magnaflow magnapacks-- they look great! and sound awsome!

Im sure a few can, my car isnt built for speed, its built to cruise man, a heavy sled like mine aint any race car, but will we be seeing hondas in 30 years staying in the shape that our metal bodies can stay in. not the plastic **** they are made of today.
And the loud sound of some sweet gl***packs or even straight pipes on an old school v8 sound wayyy better than the soda can pipes thrown on the back of these 4 bangers hondas!!

I ordered Cherry Bombs thinking they were straight mufflers -- that is, inlet and outlet are coaxial right through the muffler...
    Not so!
One end is slightly ****ed at a little angle.
I used them, but wouldn't buy Cherry Bombs again.
When I want a "straight through gl*** pack" it's gotta be straight.

I'm just saying not too criticize the tuner cars per-say, and I'll have to agree that a V8 sounds better than a 4 cylinder sometimes. I would re-think the description of your car, it ain't no sled just and old car.

My vote, a type of muffler over straight pipes. Cherry bomb or porter, whatever floats your boat. In my experience, I've found that the farther up by the engine the mufflers are, the more of a rumble you get at the end. I can't vouch for every scenario, but the times I have moved the mufflers as close to the header with very long pipes to the rear bumper, I get a much more pronounced rumble.

Why mufflers? I work very hard at night and sleep during the day. As a courtesy to my neighbors, I keep the noise down. When my neighbors don't offer me the same courtesy, I usually have a talk with them, then police are called on them with great regularity, then no telling what a mean jerk with a serious lack of sleep will do.

You want it loud, get cutouts. Mess with my sleep and my ability to make a living and it's going to get ugly fast...

I have 3 inch exhaust and i put some cherry bomb bullets on it, the over all length including the flanges is 12" long and the muffler part is only 8 inches. Its extremely raspy and really doesnt sound like i have exhaust at all. Its the way to go if you want that open sound with out the headaches of the boys in blue. Keep it real you rotten *******
