On a recent cruise to the Southern half of a certain state I was privileged enough to stop at an amazing private collection. I was sworn not to reveal the location or other info, but I could publish the photos. If you know who's collection it is, congratulations, but please zip it!

Let it be known that the owner drives pretty much every car in this collection in vintage races!

Some of the closeups were me studying the quality of the builds of older race cars in comparison to the Legion Special. Thankfully, most of the restored cars are not over-restored.

    The photos speak for themselves.

That'll work... Damn... I wonder if that Miller Indy was the one that used to be at my buddies house in Los Altos. I'll need to check my old pics. Those things are amazing!

    Nice pics.

Wow - but it looks like the secret was out...there were a bunch of folks touring it...?

He has informational placards made for the display engines and things, it looks like...so...does he do tours once a years or something, like the guy in LA with all the woodies used to do ('til he lost 'em).

I love the fact that the street of the race shop/museum is the same as his last name. How cool is that!

...thanks for sharing, lots of history here...but do wish it was open to the public to share it all...the chance to take kids and grandkids to see this is how we p*** the history on, but at the same time respect the needs of the collector who must have millions invested in this...

The NOVI!!!!!!!!!!!!! He owns the NOVI! That is one wonderful collection, the owner sure has great taste in automobiles, please thank him for letting us enjoy the tour. It would be interesting to know how many INDY cars he has. I've always wanted to compile a list of INDY survivors. WOW, I'm going back for another tour.
