Tony Nancy built his engines. Besides a consumate upholsterer, he was an accomplished engine builder. At one point Nicholson held the ET records at all 3 local tracks, at according to the Racer Brown cam ads

The Mid West guys really embraced the Opel body to serve as a shell for their race cars. I have to admit that when their normal proportions are distorted to accomodate a funny car or altered chassis they take on a whole new look. Vern Moats always deviated from the norm by mounting obscure bodied on his cars. His Super Jag altered was but another example

Plum.................Thanks for the great shots. Hell no I havent forgotten the Gassers. Ive owned my two over the last 30 plus years and Ive started on my 39 stude coupe gasser project last week. I picked it up out of Ohio and its in great shape.
Also included a couple of shots of my friends I took at Manasses Va last year. The Little white van is my 48 Morris I bought in 1978, the primered coupe is the stude I just started. And what I want to do with it.:):)
