Hell yeah. My grandma took us shopping for school clothes at Peoples every year. That and the JC Pennys a few doors where you would go down the steps into the boys section. I always thought that was cool. like a underground Pennys. Damn dude I remember that big ol pair of pants on the wall at Peoples!!! They were like size 100 waist. Peoples was like the only place you could get charlie brown shirts in sanfer. The mall was the shit. Now its only good if you want a wedding dress. Sorry to ramble off topic. I'll bring it back by posting some pics of my latest build. Check the build thread on the LBCC board for lots of pics and details. http://www.losboulevardos.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7922
Damn Eryk you steal the show! Are those real 5.20s? :O oh and the donut is bad ass, i wish i could use one...
Groucho, pop some popcorn, crack open a cold one, and click on the link I provided right above the photos. Here it is again: http://www.losboulevardos.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7922 Its my 67 Cutlass Supreme. My club brother and friend till the end Alex Valdez painted it. The design was a collaborative effort between him and me. The talent behind the spray gun is all him.
Fucking COOL! I love the picture with Nacho. I go WAY BACK with him. I started going to him in the very early 70's, when he was on Laurel Canyon, between Chandler and Magnolia. Back in the "day", my buddy Dave Sada ended up with Nacho's lifted, primer blue 56 Nomad..........
As I am from santa maria I remember many of low the low riders but the one that always stayed in my head was a green paneled 65 Imp with Bell flowers it was so sweeeeeet circa 1969 I seen the car while visting my uncles back in 74 and the poor car was a shamble setting at the rancho delux hotel crying shame,
Haha. Or "Supremes and pinner whites". Or "a lace roof". Maybe some angel hair for the headliner and a virgin mary statue on the dash. Can't hate on rabbit ears though. I love my Archers.
Eryk, Nice job on the Cutlass! Looks like you had some great talent on that build. Very peroid correct. Somebody did their homework.....
yeah those are nice..don't forget the organ pipes and the dog with a moving head in the back window HA HA
there was a set on ebay last week (archer's, in the box). they went for 24.99, and there was only one bid and one bidder!

my car is a reformed lowrider. the PO installed the hydraulics and had wire wheels on it up until i bought it. he drove it from Oregon to Mexico so it has a Tijuana interior in it. the wheels that are on it in the first pic are the cheapies he through on it to sell. the wheels on the front in the second shot are the ones i just picked up at the swap meet. i just have to find the time to get the other two on it.... all the way up.... all the way down...
Here's a picture of my 64', I've been re doing all the suspension and hydraulics. I should have it done this weekend.
Has anyone ever done one of these '69/70 Mercury Marauders as a lowrider? It seems perfect for the treatment and if so, I'd love to see pics!
^^^yeah it sure is.... if you go past the wheels! ^^^^ No pun intended but lets all try to keep this one on topic. Now this is a pretty 64!
Hey Bonez, do you have a picture of the 61 4 door hardtop that is next to the 64 in that last picture you posted? Thanks
