Someone mentioned that a Coupe door and a Fordoor front door differ by 1/4 inch. I'm no '32 expert but wouldn't think Henry would make doors that differed by 1/4 inch on purpose, more likely a manufacturing flaw back in the day IMO.

Thanks! When you can post a photo to show the differance. I know that Tudor and Vicky doors are the same length but the window area is different. :)

Are you going to use roadster quarters?
    Repro?

  9. In his initial post he said his dad gave him two 32 5 window quarters.

I know Drew well...as I know his skills for "making it happen"....the negative comments on here will only further motivate him to get this body built right and built fast....Looking forward to the finished product Drew--Matt

You would think that they look identical, that they should be, but they are not, and '32 is not the only year for this.

My brother had to cut down sedan doors to fit his Truck.....never made sense to me. Should be the same.

Nope sorry I meant to say Model A doors to confirm Django's post about them not being the only one. .....but if it were '32 Doors it would be fitting for the thread wouldn't it? hahahaha!!!!!

I looked at that MorDor Deuce @ Charlotte.
    It was fairly decent.
    :)

I do not have the TALENT or the STONES to cut a Deuce that nice ... but I
am watching this thread with interest.

Wishing you much sucess :D :D

The 4 door sedans are cool. Looks like a waste of a good one.

Speaking as one who wrecked more than his fair share of valuable Ford tin in his day...... sometimes you have to sacrifice a few to get what you want. I remember distinctly cold chiseling the floor out of a perfectly good tudor to put into another car. A few short years later I cut it out again, and built everything new. I seem to remember more than a couple fordors being smacked on the head too. Then there was my Model A phase...... seems to me I cut up three perfectly good tudors one summer to find the best parts for a Sport Coupe that had been target practice on a military base (no kidding).

So carry on..... and keep posting progress pics..... please.

That is such a crying shame to see the cutting up death of a really nice duece 4 door body.

Everyone else can say what they like, yours to do what you like etc. but you did not do the right thing. You commited a crime.

    Kugels 4 door.

I have cut up plenty of cars in my time. I look back and I think I made a few mistakes. They were mine to do what I wanted to though. Here is a cool 4dr. I am a little partial.

Man all you guys that come onto this thread just to bash a guy for building the car he wants need to get over it. Go out in the garage and build something! You knew what this thread was about when you clicked on it, what the hell did you expect to find, a four door restoration thread? If you find something objectionable, it's as easy as looking away.

Geez, I had to double check to make sure I was on a hot rod board! It sounded like I had somehow wandered onto the AACA forum! Cut it up! That's what hot rodders do!
