    Still got mine.
The original one with the "vibrator" cars.
A little worse for wear, but I also have a very gently used set in excellent shape I bought at a toy swap meet, alll there.
I also have all the track and stuff I upgraded to.
Remember cleaning the track with an eraser so the copper contacts were good again?

Every generation feels this way. Your "good old days' are happening right now. I'm 61 and as a kid said the same thing about earlier times. Imagine, I thought, being around for the birth of the automobile?

Moral is, take lots of pictures of the things around you and your projects. It seems inconsequential at the moment but so did most of the photos we now drool over. Time taught me as well to get off the couch and get projects on the road so I'll have the memories to recall. So far, so good.

About a year and a half ago A couple buddies and I were headed north on I-75 towards Etowah TN when we met something that looked like the above pictured "trackless train". As it was headed south and we were headed north, things were happening to fast to get a picture. There were four of us in the truck and we all saw it....anyone else that we've told about it has called us all crazy! I had searched the net for photos and this is the first time that I've seen anything that even resembled it!
