I gotta work Sunday. But I was told there is a fella from East Hartford bringing a lot of iron there on Sunday. Apparently the town told him to get the cars off his property.

Had a good time visiting with folks, missed out on a couple of things I should have bought, got wimpy about spending money I guess...didnt do that the day before at Thompson, got some real nice stuff real reasonable. As was the stuff I should have jumped on at Compounce. Oh well, stiill had a good time.

I did the opposite--p***ed up a couple pieces at Thompson that I would have bought if it had been the last swap meet of the season, and ended up spending the $$$ at Compounce yesterday. As a sidenote, I take my hat off to the women that dared navigate Lake Compounce's field of cobblerocks in spike heels; hope none of you twisted an ankle!

Did you see the woman selling the "Official Member of the Piss and Moan About Everything Club" t shirts? I should have inquired about a package deal---I know many people that need them!

sorry for bumping this up from the dead, but I've got a question for you guys. I'm thinking of going to the May 2nd meet, but am wondering what the showing is for '47-'54 chevy trucks is usually like. I'd hate to get there and find nothing :(.

Mooe, Welcome to the HAMB! You never know what will turn up in Bristol, it is the best run swap meet and fun to attend even if you don't find what you need. Rhinebeck, N.Y. is the day before and only an hour+ West.

Check with Phil, he's a CSRA member. He directs the traffic as it splits at the opening before you get to the booths. He may have some parts. i know he has a whole panel truck ,he looking to sell.

I knew I forgot to ask something, whats the best way in? I'm looking at the map, and theres a road going past the lake, and a road coming off enterprise dr/ west st. Which way is best?
