What they said...Why would you open a thread about tri-5 Chevys, if you didn't want to see them? Great looking Chevys everyone. Really makes me want to get mine on the road.

Looks like the H.A.M.B. is police ing itself. Here's some newer pics of my cookie cutter tri-five AND the black & white 150 with the 6 bolt lugs is NICE.

Man you guys have such nice Tri-Fives.....wish mine were nicer.

I already posted an older pic of it earlier in this thread, here are some more recent pics of my driveable project.

I have a long way to go, but it runs and drives. I wish I knew how to do body work....

^^^^^ Thats cool, you got her T&A when she jumbs in the back seat.

  26. lorodz...if you are going to lower it and leave the rear radiused, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something with that radius...graft in some kind of lip from something...maybe 57 chevy front fenders or even using 56 ones...just get rid of the original rear section! it looks goofy

  27. I have had a few 55-6 chevys. Had my first 56, a 4 dr hardtop in 1966. Had my first 55 Nomad in 1976. Got my second 55 Nomad in 77, let it go in about 1980. Got my 56 Nomad in 79 or 80. Finished my 55 2-door in porche red in 83. Got hit in 84 and rebuilt it. Redid it frame up again in 85 or so, this time in black. Redid it again, lowered, 14 inch wires, 55 Buick tailites, louvered hood, all emblems shaved. Hood bird gone and hammered out the peak for it and did a fadeaway on the peaked area of the hood. Sold in the late 80's. Picked up a 57 Canadian Pontiac sedan delivery to build around 2002, but have since sold it. Canadian Pontiacs were built on Chevy chassis with Chevy motors and trannys.
