it was a good time! i
got about 400 miles on exactly by the time i got back home. -- didnt miss a beat but that WIND while heading west on 20. Saturday sure gave my tonneau cover a work out. its been on the truck since like 1959 or 60. its tough & held up nice but the wind wanted to steal my spare tire cover real bad a couple of times. i finally stopped & took it off.
it was like driving in a tornado!

Great picks Zimm. The one of the trailer stuck in the mudhole started me laughing again. That alone was worth the trip...

congradulations john I heard the show had a great turn out I wish I coulda made it

  16. What a great way to describe the weekend. Even all that damn rain couldnt bring all of this down.

I had a ton of fun even when we where trying to beg and borrow dry ground to park cars. I will totally volunteer again next year. Kick ass show man.

X2 Zimm.. actually the one of Gabe's car (Blue T-bird with the mud) made me laugh out loud again. Then I remembered my jacket, my hair, my pants.. Little Car can elaborate if she likes :)

Had a complete blast with all my friends, found some stuff I needed at the swap, and seen some cool stuff.

  18. Sounds like it all went off well. Amigo sounds like he has no fucking clue! They want me to drive through MUD!? ;)

What an awesome show! HUGE thanks to John Wells for putting together such a great show. I had a great time, met a lot of really cool people, and listened to some killer bands! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat or buy some of my art! The support for John and his family, especially for little Hannah was nothing short of incredible! I'm looking forward to next year!

Rocky and I were the two guys in charge of trying to get all of the cars in the building on Friday and to find enough dry ground for all of the cars outside on Saturday. The rain on Friday took away a lot of the options that we thought we had for Saturday. I don't think anyone involved with the show thought we would have this many cars or spectators to try and fit on the grounds for a first year show.

I would like to thank all of the parking volunteers. They were a great group to work with and getting everyone through the gate was a team effort. I would also like to thank the participants for being so flexible. We made a lot of changes on the fly and almost everyone was OK with what we asked. I personally only ran in to one person that wanted to be a dick. Luckily his buddies shut him up and worked with us and everything was good.

And a big THANK YOU to Kim and John for a great time and a successful show. John put his heart and soul in to this and I think it showed. Hopefully John will want to do it all again next year.

Thanks!!! I'm glad we got to chat, you both are great! I had a awesome time, despite the muddy camping which there was nothing anyone could do about. It was a great weekend and I sold some art, made a lot of new friends. Thanks to everyone that stopped by to check out my art!!:)
Also want to thank John for letting me vend and I'm glad about the great turnout to help his daughter Hannah!! Hope they raised a lot of money, the auction was cool as well. Can't wait for next year!
