Not much going on with the tank , Trying to get a barn built at home. The tank will come home when the barn is done! That Stude doesn't have enough "Power" to pull my Tank...........and you know it ....ha! You put your HEMI in it ,then it will get the job done!!!
It was a great start for a Sunday......... They Delivered the tank to me So it's home to stay. I will post more alittle at a time today...........Thanks for LQQKn'
Here are some more shots of the move in.As I finished up on my project I will keep posting some shots Ol Deuce
Nice "barn", that may be the last time it will be that clean or that empty! Does Brandon's coupe have an assigned space?
Its home! Cool. In a week and a half, I'll get to see the 'Barn" for the first time. Have fun playing
I sure hope with concrete and other amenities this shop will be a clean and inviting space. My two tanks and '32 Roadster should be in a well kept area. Of course my Trikes will always have first dibs on parking behind the big door!
Have an update on my tank! The fairing Rex made for me is fitting very well! A few holes to bore and I am home free............Thank You Rex!!!
WOW! Looks great! I'm planning on going to Bonneville this year,so I hope I get to see it in person. Would they let you run it at the HAMB drags? Or a Nostalgia Event?
I am glad fairing is fittine that good. I am glad i could help. Work permitting i plan on heading out to the salt this year. The whole tank is just too cool.
"Bad Bob" ........ They say I can make a trip down the salt app 65 mph as a Historical run at any speed it would be fun
That fairing makes the tank complete.Rex Rogers is a talented guy.I'm still playing with a nose for the model a roadster.Hey congratulations to you and Barb for getting the jalopy kid graduated from college!!!
Ya The Jalopy Kid is one Happy Camper ! Give him a week to get out of the school mod & he will be back down to earth doing "Great Things" with his Cars..
Today I finished the final fit, bored the holes and its on to stay.I will get this painted on the tank . This fairing fits like a glove. If you need aluminum shape send Rex a pm he's great to work with!!!
It looks good on your tank i wasn't real sure how it would fit there was a slight difference from the tank we have here at the shop and the patterns you sent me i am real happy that you didn't have to much trouble in getting the part bolted down.
