Looks like I have to go back to the email and see if I can get the other half of the babe spread to load.

You probably could not get away with naming your car 'Tar Baby' nowadays.Nice Ford for sale.

The car ran as an Altered with a Chevy 350 after Don stopped racing it. I bought it without an engine. I'd collected a 392 HEMI, and Don still had the handmade headers that he sold me. I had hoped to restore it to its U.S.Nationals Cl*** Winner appearance from 1965. Kids college bills forces me to part with it. It is in Oregon under restoration now. There were so many neat low buck features on the car that Don built into it that made it a winner.:)

The U.S. Mule II had a lot of body roll when first built. Cure was to install a 1952 Studebaker steering box on the right side of the frame and place the driver over there, problem solved. :D

Bucksnort, This what I have for 1965 Vol 4 # 15, #16, # 18, #20, #21, #25. This way we won't be scannning the same stuff. One more thing...When you are scanning, could you keep an eye out for pictures and reports from New england tracks? Sanford, ME. , Charlestown, RI. , Orange, MA. , Connecticut Dragway.

OK,been out of action for awhile.Quick story.Couple of weeks ago in my back yard I did a frontal face first body slam after tripping in a hole. When 250 pounds decides to crash its gonna hurt. And it did.I do remember the wife, who was walking with me,say to me while my face was kissing the earth,"wow, glad I wasn't walking in front of you".It hurt to laugh. She is such a keeper.
Ribs, knees took the worst. After dealing with it on my own,the wife gets me to see the Doc yesterday. They take a look and send me to hospital for x rays and ultra sound stuff."You probably have blood clots, prepare to be admitted",they said.****in' great.
Went through all that stuff and the results were no broken ribs or blood clots.Just banged up.So that made me feel better, came home, hopped in the Nomad with the misses and went out for drinks and food.
    Feeling better every day.

All right, enough ********,next post will start off 1965.

Did not know that Arnie Beswick sold his 64 GTO to Don Gay.Looks like they shared driving duties with the Farmer getting into the nines, supposedly the first in a stock bodied auto.Sox did not do too bad with a 10.04 on same run.

The Nasty ll streamliner I am not familiar with.Looked cool, though streamlining never did work out too good for dragging.Lots tried.

Some great stuff from Connecticut dragway.A local boy,to me,Don Noyes and his US Mule.Great car.
One of my favorite rails that I followed was the A&B Speed shop injected chevy. It could run with any of the shaky coast cars.Killer car to watch run.

Lebanon Valley which is the closest track to me so I guess thats my home track.75 miles one way.The track in the ad on the bottom,So.Glens Falls was where I grew up.The s in Glens was frequently left off by non locals and still is to this day.
What are the odds of the automatic record changer not skipping while cruising down the road.
