I need a donor car with good floors and rocker panels if anyone has one (hopefully near the midwest).

I just bought one a few days ago. Got the original flathead and manual gear box, still 6volt, it has a little bit of rust in the trunk, but it runs great, the steering is a little funky, but I've been driving it every day.
Future plans include, chopping, paint, upholstery, etc, and drive the shit out of it.

Chris, really nice score there.Looks like a solid ride, looks like you have the light in the middle of the grill.whats the story with that? Is is a stock set up that was an option or do people just place then there? i have always wanted to know.

I'm not sure if it's an option, or an after market thing, but I've got one that came in the trunk of my 50 when I bought it....I think there were a few of them around.....

I know you could buy it as an after market add on.

oolio--that's a great way to show the propeller grill design of the 49-50 Ford...next to a real airplane prop!!! Thanks for the creative pics!

The car has flipped spindles in the front and 4" lowering blocks in the back.
I've seen several pictures of shoeboxes with amber center lights, never with a white light, but my set-up seems to be factory, it doesnt look home made.
