Well, I got our new clutch (Spec 6 puck) but won't be able to get back to the HAMBster 'til Wednesday at the earliest, too damn much work coming in. GDMFSOB, I though I was semi-retired here.

Tim, Speed Twin?

 

No. I wish. TRW frame is pretty much the same as the Speed Twin but it is a 500 Flathead. Still a nice bike, not many like it around.

Got the rear body off & glassing up all the damage we did to it at Fontana. Had the heads off it twice then the tire shake late Saturday busted the body everywhere. I saw pieces flying during the run , we'll have it together though with red primer over all the carnage. In a month or so I'll most likely pull everything off, dtrip it and re-paint it. The aluminum nose needs tig welding here & there & I need to take the rear body to the fiberglass & redo it. Looks like I'm gonna shoot it Candy Apple Red like it was before we hurt it 25 years ago & shot it with Red Porsch Emeron.
Got to get my old pinstripper to duplicate the pinstripping & Bob Thompson to do the lettering in Veragated Gold Leaf.
I've got half the repair glass work done so were lookin good for the Fresno Reunion.
May have a dragster or two coming with us as this deal sounds fun to a lot of people.
