I brought home the 34 5 window coupe yesterday. The owners wife was a little sad to see it go but happy it's going to good home. They had owned it since 1958.
Here it is loaded on the trailer getting ready to go.

Here it is arriving at my place and in the shop.

Some other pics. I can't wait to get it going! First thing I'll do is give Mrs. H a ride.

Wow, I saw the earlier post. I can't believe how well the car is preserved. You'll have to go back and visit her once you get it running.

Looks like a VERY clean car. VERY NICE! Good for you. I wish my 33 5W looked that nice to start, but I'm slowly bringing her back into shape.

Good luck with it...and yes, do tell us your proposed plans (I understand they may change) for it.

Ok, besides soap and water and some serious going over the safety items I wouldn't do much to that one except get it running like it should be capable of.

    Nice find.

I really hope this doesn't turn into another one of those posts where a few months from now, someone posts a link to it on ebay.

The body on the car is in excellent condition. Too bad I can't say the same for the paint. The fenders, doors and quarters are in fair to good condition but the paint on the roof and trunk lid is crazing and peeling off

Bascially it's 90% finished, already been converted to hydraulic brakes. I just need to check everything out. Change all the fluids and check wheel bearings etc.

The engine is a 1936 21 stud that has been rebuilt. I will probably just get it running again and drive it with that until I have time to drop in the 59AB I have for it.

The interior needs cleaned up and finished. It looks like its been completly rewired with new gauges.

    Nope this ones a keeper!

Getting her cleaned up. The paint is rubbing out nicely. Most likely will just leave it like it is. It has not been registered since 1958.

Here are some before and after.
