I don't have the talent to express how thankful that we are. We were blown away
how many entries that we had this year. Weather was purfect unless you forgot
your sun block.(My face doesn't hurt anymore, you can't tell by looking at it.)

    Special thanks to:

Julie Majors, Rumblejetts and Pushrod, I'm so blessed to have three great bands that play
at the SK500. They have there own style and it is way kool. They are very talented and I'm
just pleased to have then share their talent with us. Saturday night was nuts, Julie's new
band members is a kool improvement. It was like adding more Chrome to a Nailhead,
their was nothing wrong with it before but wow is it kool now....thanks Julie!

To close the show Pushrod played and welcomed the Rumblejetts to play along. WOW!!
you talk about a high energy performance. I wish that we could have recorded the
last song. It was one of the best performances ever. Thanks guys; Mike, Jim, Judd, Jimbo,
Jamie. That was sooo Kool!! Hey Jimbo, How did the Yo Yo thing go??

Special thanks to my Tulsa friends: Ron, Rashy, Mike, Chris and Monkey. You really
surprised me with the trophy and when I saw my Merc cruizin through the trophy line
I knew that I was going to be in trouble. I was moved with the award. Thank you very
much for letting me hang out with you guys and be part of your group.

I get too much credit for the show I have a lot of help with the show and it would not go
over at all with out the help of Renee. Everyday I'm surprised she is still with me. Krobe,
Dustin, Shan, Jeff, Tony, Jack, Jimmy, Herb and also Travis if I can keep him out of the
stores. LOL!! Thanks guys for making the show run smoot, Show wouldn';t happen without
    ya guys.....

Thanks guys for keep'n it somewhat peaceful at the hotel. They were very happy with the
lack of Burnouts. This will insure that we will have a kool host hotel to hang out.

Thanks again guys for your help and keeping the Kustom and Hot Rod movement alive...

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

I am sure I speak for everyone when I say thank YOU, Mick, for creating and sustaining such great kustom shows. You are a heckuva guy and you throw a heckuva party.
I have not been to every SK500, but I am prepared to go out on a limb and declare this one the Best One Yet!

Thanks Dave, I'm blessed to have a lot of kool friends. I thought that it was the best
one to date, I didn't see much of the show. Renee was working me too much. Looking
forward to checking out the pics.

We have alot of Kool guys that come and hang out with us. The reason it works that it
is not just another car show, it is a show for the Blue Collar Car guy and everyone that
shows up ia a real car guy...

We already have made some parking improvements so we won't be so kramp'd next
    year.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

Man that was one of the best times I've had in a long time. The SK500 is my favorite car show we go to .....Its just a bunch of midwesterners having a good time. Thanks for putting it on Mickey and thanks for everybody being so cool about everything.
Favorite things that happened this year

    1. Jimbo getting spanked by the Yo Yo kid while we played Footloose. It was like seeing Kevin Bacon mad dance with Yo-Yo.
    2. That really big guy kill that bottle of Bacardi.
    3. Me and Jimbo wrestling while the Rumble Jets played. I won by the way until the previously mentioned really big guy jumped on me and then he won.
    4. Myers just because he's a funny guy
    5. Jimbo driving the excursion through the hotel parking lot while Daddyo and I tried to rock it enough to flip it.

If anyone has video or pics of the Saturday night party please share them with me I would love to see that crap again......

Thanks for having a great show Mick.

I left my camera in my room, so all I have is one bad shot from my phone when you were on a table in the back of the room.

Let the count down begin...51 more weeks. The weekend was a blast. Good to see all. My favorite moment of t he weekend--- At the awards when Dick was giving out his award and Mickey says, " Oh crap, thats my car" !!!!!! Priceless.

The gang was in full stuff bag mode and when we got to your name the little page magazine was right on top. God likes Kustoms, Can't wait to see your '51 on the street.

You were missed and we had the koolest Merc turn out to date. I was telling guiys that Duncan's Tires were Merc tires. So you were there, Kinda. Hope to see ya in Salina.

We were sitting down in fornt of registration watching everyone leave and it is the koolest thing to watch your Hot Rod in action. Thanks...
